Around 2 months back i had gone to yavatmal for a business trip to deploy our product which is a hospital management system.

I had to train all the doctors, in their respective modules, and 1 of the modules i was not looking forward to having a good time training was gynecology. And u bet it , it happened just that way

There is a so called magical formula for delivering babies , LOL …. which goes something like,

Expected delivery date is = Last menstrual cycle + 9 months + 7 days.

Now we all know how doctors write, and i aint some1 who was a fan of gynecology ever before as a subject, so i interpreted the spelling from the requirements document as menopause (i swear it wasn’t a prank ).

So the revised formula invented by me was LOL

Expected delivery date = Last menopause + 9 months + 7 days

Now when the doctors saw that on their GUI screen, they all pounced on me. I tried to explain to them its only a spelling mistake , and i will correct it now, to which the doctor gave me the most amazing reply

“My boy some spelling mistakes can be very costly, whats not meant to produce babies and happens after 40, U wrote it in your formula”.

I tried 2 reason them, that i was totally unaware of any terms of gynecology, and seeing my innocent face guess what ? , she gave me a complete KT (knowledge transfer) of everything in gynecology, and ended up getting trained myself .

Phew, i now can maybe put my next post on all the tricks involved with the baby delivery formula
